Outdoor Screening of Ancestral Artistry at Historic Pitot House on Bayou St. John.

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of film and conversation under the stars, at a special screening of Ancestral Artistry, Tuesday, September 30, at the historic Pitot House, along Bayou St. John in New Orleans. The event is co-hosted by the Louisiana Architecture Foundation, Louisiana Landmarks Society, and the Preservation Resource Center. 


Doors open at 6 pm. The film begins at 7 pm. Tickets, sold here, are $30 and include admission, a beverage, and popcorn. After the screening, stick around for a live Q&A with the talented artisans featured in the film, as they share their stories and insights into the cultural legacy that shaped Louisiana’s built environment. Proceeds benefit the LAF, LLS, and the PRC.
