Where Landscape Meets Architecture -  A one hour discussion of best practices and detailing focusing on the boundary between the Built Environment and Significant Trees.  Event starts at 6pm with refreshments, lecture will begin at 6:30 with presentations by Bayou Tree Service and Carbo Landscape Architecture.

1.  Maintenance of significant trees near existing structures to mitigate foundation and roof damage.
2.  How to plan for and prepare existing tress that are adjacent to proposed new construction to maintain tree health and limit the potential for future damage to the structure.
3.  Proper installation of root barrier and other techniques to prevent future conflicts. 
4.  Plant selection/detailing for new trees near new and existing buildings to prevent future maintenance issues.
